Android

The Android market place is a centralized application market place for the Android mobile OS platform. Established in October of 2008 with the launch of the HTC Dream and developed by Google, it is a hotly discussed market. The Android market place features over 100,000 applications between games, business, themes and more. In February 2009, the market place was opened up for paid applications, ushering in the need for tracking services for non-gaming and gaming applications.

FADE LLC estimates that the Android market place has recorded over 750 million game downloads through early 2011, and is posting triple-digit growth annually.

FADE LLC offers extensive packages for Android data and sales charts. Beginning in July of 2009, we offer tracking for top-200 paid gaming applications. As of December 2009, we expanded our coverage to 100% of all gaming applications - approximately 15,000 in early 2011.
